Signed vs unsigned JAR files

Generating a signed jar file:Jar files generated by using the Production Release functionality are always signed. All other jar files are not.
The Production Release Process can be imitated via Repository | Release --> Production Release
.
Note: The Production Release needs to be configured prior to its initial use. Please refer to the Idiom Decision Manager Manual for details on how to do this.
Runtime Configuration:
The Idiom Decision Server can be configured to deny the usage of unsigned/signed jar files as an additional security measure. This can be done using the decisionServer.config file.
The xsd for this file can be found in the documentation folder of your Decision Manager installation. Please refer to the Developer’s Guide for more details on how to configure the Decision Server runtime.
